the purpose of exploring the images, identity and personal visions
of the body from different GLTTB artist's perspectives, within the
festival our program includes a Photography and Art exhibition that
gathers various artists' work on the subject.

Putting
fragments, faces, bodies, textures, all together and re-structured
in a new story… Some rather childish, cursi style that
diminishes drama and approaches to a candid look suggesting
"Let's pretend this is all real". Let's dream and
dive in the waters of disconcert even if it's just for a while…
About the artist: A cordobes landscape painted at the age
of 6 defined his orientation toward art. It's a spiny road.
But art is like those things that are real and meaningful
in life, you take it or leave it.

SEBASTIÁN
FREIRE
"Barbies" - 100 x 70 cm - Technique: Digital Photography
A body marked with the name of God (IHVH), with a part missing
and without knowing if that part corresponds to the senseless
dreamer or to the one that surrenders to the joy of flesh (because,
besides, one and the other are the same). What's left is marks
(HIV) in a tormented, beautiful body, called for the second
time to intercede in Heaven on our behalf. Sebastiano is the
Saint of Gays.
About the artist: Sebastián Freire (1973) studied Science
of Comunication at the Buenos Aires University. He also studied
photography and had his work exhibited individually several

SILA
OHMAN
"El Florista" - 1,40 x 90 cm - Technique: Acrilic
on canvas - 2003
The artist works in two projects, one in the area of painting
and the other one in theatrical dance. In his work human shape
is always present, as erotized beings that dance till they
die, that live of love.
About the artist: he was born in july 10th of 1966, but he
dies and was born again several times since then. Since his
first birth he walked an infinity of paths untill he finally
got the chance to choose. Then he chose art.
