RESULTS AND NUMBERS OF THE 4TH EDITION OF DIVERSA INTERNATIONAL GLTBI FILM FESTIVAL OF ARGENTINA

The 4th edition of DIVERSA as come to its end with great success. The gathering of national and international GLTBI productions and its encounter with the audience has got beyond expectations. The amount of both GLTBI related films and people that put the festival as an obligatory event in their agenda is higher each time, establishing Argentina as a meeting spot for diversity.

We were able to screen in national theatres films that wouldn't have reached the local audience in another way.
The festival is now positioned as one of the most relevant of its type, national and internationally, exhibiting the films of 31 foreign and 14 local filmmakers that explore GLTBI themes and work to make a more comprehensive world, by integrating experiences, focuses, aesthetics and new stories.

Artists were invited to integrate the art exhibition that is part of our program. The artists presenting their work at "Te mataré Ramirez" were Leandro Allochis, Male Cernadas, Daniel Acosta, Natalia Martínez and Vanesa Márquez.

With the idea to celebrate the beginning of the festival, traditional Club 69 offered their space and their theatrical company so the audience could meet us there to enjoy a memorable opening party. Ronnie Arias didn't just joined us at the party but also sponsored the whole festival.

We are really glad to know that we accomplished our goal of fomenting national production, bringing films from all around the world, and sharing our commitment towards cinematography, culture and society.

We deeply thank the increasing participation of the people who has chosen their favorite films through their votes.

The winners were defined by the quantity of votes and the average score assigned by the audience.

The whole staff from the festival are very happy about the response of people in all aspects. With our 4th edition we strengthen enough to say that this festival is no longer the begining of something, but an experience that will return and renew year after year.

We are sure that, from now on there are many other editions of DIVERSA to be.
